Saleen is a company from the United States of America, which is mostly known for its tuning of Ford's Mustangs, and their own car, the Saleen S7. The Saleen Mustang is one of the performance packages available for the Mustang through Ford dealerships.
The company also makes many of its performance parts (which are currently being produced) available to purchase individually.
The company's founder, Steve Saleen, is a former race car driver. In 1983, he saw a niche market opportunity to drastically improve the performance and appearance of production sports cars, and in 1984 his newly-formed company produced its first tuned Mustang.
