Arguably the most notable vehicle with the Saleen name on it, the Saleen S7 is one of the few real supercars to come out of the United States of America in recent years. Most of its components are either racing-spec or close to it, but unlike the race car version, the interior is filled with luxury (including a seat custom-tailored to fit the individual driver). Its V8 was positioned in a mid-engine, rear wheel drive configuration.
The body has an impressively low-drag aerodynamic design which helps it reach over 210 MPH, a speed that usually requires more than its 550 HP to reach. Its 0 to 60 time is around 3.3 seconds, and it finishes a quarter mile in 11.8 seconds.
