The all-electric Nissan Leaf is a hatchback which was first sold to the public in 2010. While other manufacturers in Japan have mass-produced vehicles with electric motors, Nissan was the first to mass-produce one without a Gasoline motor assisting it in some way (a hybrid vehicle).
