The Supra is a sports car built by Toyota. It started out as a trim level available for the celica, but after a few years it became its own model.

The first Supra that was its own vehicle instead of a trim level was introduced in 1986, and while it was still based on the Celica XX foundation, it was an all-around unique car. It featured a double-wishbone suspension at all four wheels, and the rear differential was mounted via a subframe to further improve handling characteristics.

Two engines were available with this generation. The "7M", a 3.0L inline-6, which was availale as a turbocharged engine producing 226 HP, or naturally aspirated engine producing 103 HP and later 138 HP. The other engine was a 2.0L twin-turbo inline-4 tht produced 182 HP.
