Lexus is the luxury branch of the Japanese automotive company Toyota (NYSE: TM/TYO: 7203). However, some of its models are badged as Toyota vehicles in certain countries. Lexus has a small presence in auto racing, due to its focus on luxury over sporty driving. Many lexus models are based on Toyota models, but with changed body styling, improved interior comfort/features, and often more powerful engines.
