The video game series Fallout takes place in a hypothetical scenario branching off somewhere around the 1960s where the United States ends up going into a world-ending war with China, and a few people escape to vaults in October 2077 to survive. The game takes place in the ruins of civilization, where many hypothetical cars can be seen, often with the style of what people in the 1950s and 1960s thought vehicles would look like in the distant future.
