Dome

Dome is a race car constructor located in Japan and founded in 1965 by Minoru Hayashi. In 1978 they produced a concept car known as the Dome Zero, which had a very unusual futuristic wedge shape.

Pictured at the left is a Dome race car (#5) from 2005 which raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, powered by a Mugen MF408S 4.0L V8. This car didn't finish and placed 31st.

Pictured at the right is the #17 Pescarolo Team Dome S 102.5 Judd race car in its debut race at Spa Francorchamps in 2012. In the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans, this team/car qualified 10th, and placed 35th.
