Jet engines are unlike piston engines in almost every way. The main thing they do have in common is that they are designed to use a combustable liquid fuel to create energy which can be used to move a vehicle. Jet engines are typically found on aircraft, but have been used for other applications, including drying off race tracks.



Cars Powered By Jet Engines

There have been a few attempts to create a jet engine powered car, but none of them have been successful enough to make it into production, with the exception of the Chrysler Turbine Car, which was only produced in limited numbers (less than ten still exist today).
