A tire pressure sensor sits inside a tire, typically attached to the valve stem or a band around the rim.



What's Inside a Tire Pressure Sensor

The inside of a tire pressure sensor contains the sensor component itself, a battery (a CR2032 watch battery in this example), and a chip to process the data and send it to the TPMS.
