You may not know where to start when it comes to figuring out what company makes what car in what country, but there is a simple hiarchy to it. Starting with Earth, of course, you narrow it down to continent, then country, then it's either a group of manufacturers (which can either be a universal brand like GM, or one company that owns others, like BMW) or a single manufacturer. Each of these has a line-up of cars they own entirely; joint-venture vehicles are quite rare.
On this page, we will sort by country, and then by company grouping. Under that will be a list of companies within that group.
